Do you like my new digs?

So with a new blog name I needed a fresh coat of paint to go with it.

And since I am rather partial to bunting it had to be included too.

I still have some tiding up to do around here but the new look is already growing on me.

And I have a new badge, feel free to grab it below if it takes your fancy!

 Actually Amy

So what do you think? Any suggestions?

Weekend fun

We are entering the last week in our house so the kids have been getting the most out of the trampoline before it gets packed up this week.

They tried to wrestle with my brother, the winners are still undecided...
And after all the wrestling they were mighty hot so a run under the sprinkler was in order.

I am getting a little sad about leaving this house. It was the home we bought both Mahli and Ethan from the hospital to..

Anyway I better get moving the house wont clean and organise itself!

Hopscotch

Did you play hopscotch as a child? I did.

My kids have just rediscovered hopscotch and have been playing it a lot lately.

Things I'm Loving

It's no secret that I have a love of all things handmade.

I am totally loving these handmade treasures.

Meet Rita, from A Little Vintage

And these Pj's I made for the boys last weekend.

I love that both my boys love them and Caden has already asked for another pair.

I also started cleaning out our walk in robe this week so I will be up-cycling some old t-shirts and jumpers to make the kids some new clothes for winter.

I also have a love for things home grown...

These little peas sprouted yesterday after we planted them over the weekend. Caden was so excited when he spotted them that we had to take a photo... or 2.

And our lemonade tree is fruiting quite a bit at the moment and we pulled about 5 kilograms of fruit off it the other day. We have been making cordial and juice with it ever since.

And I am loving being a homebody these past few days. We have played some board games and done a few craft activities.

One board game in particular has been a big hit here.
My two eldest love playing it and we are even able to play without tears from anyone for not 'winning'!

Thank you to Kristy from Paisley Jade for recommending Pictureka to us! It has been getting pull out a lot these school holidays

And I am linking up with Paisley Jade for Things I'm Loving today.

We are going on an egg hunt

So what do we need? Mummy made baskets of course!

They were mostly made with fabric scraps and pieces of felt out of my felt box. I love a project that comes together without having to buy anything.
I just sat at my machine on Saturday afternoon and pieced some fabric together, matched up some felt etc and in just over an hour I had 3 baskets. No pattern, just winging it.

I was pleased as punch.

And so where the kids!

Did you have an Easter egg hunt at your place?

I am linking up with Jess for IBOT. And also here and here

Chocolate, Lots of Chocolate

So as you may or may not know, my kids are on school holidays at the moment. Caden has declared that we have to do fun stuff all day, everyday while he is on holidays...

Day one started off great. We made some Bunny ears, we played with lego, we played on the trampoline and did some bike riding.

We also made some Easter eggs!

And we will no doubt be making them again before the week is out!

I am thinking about making some Reese's peanut butter cups inspired eggs, YUM! And Mahli has requested some cherry and coconut eggs. Caden just wants anything chocolate... And Ethan, well he is pretty much the same as his brother.

Day two started of with arguing for the eldest two. Fingers crossed I can turn this around into a great day like yesterday!

What have you got planned for the school holidays?

I'm linking up over here too.

Let the children play

My three kids are lovers of the great outdoors, they love to run, climb, jump, yell and well lately push each other over.... This usually isn't a problem until one of them uses to much force. The words 'be gentle with your little brother' are often heard coming from my mouth.

Yesterday afternoon was no different. For once there was no rain, but there was mud in our back yard, so we headed out the front. Me, with my camera and the kids with their boundless energy.

Do your kids love the great outdoors? Do they go as crazy as mine when they are outside playing?
