Do you celebrate Valentines Day? Do you do anything special for your kids?
Caden came home from school on Tuesday and told me it was Valentines Day on the 14th and that the 14th was this Thursday. I asked him how he knew that. He told me just because. I still don't know how he found out about it. It certainly wasn't from me, we haven't really done anything for Valentines Day this year. I usually make something Valentines Dayish to decorate the house with but haven't so far.
I also told B that we weren't celebrating this year. We are saving for a trip to Perth in April where he wants to buy a new trailer and boat so we need every penny available.
Even though I told B not to get me anything (I actually meant it too! No double meanings here this year...) he surprised me with a bunch of roses.
It was sweet of him and they certainly are gorgeous. You wouldn't think they came from Coles!
So do you do Valentines Day? Or is it just another day on the calendar?
