I really hope I don't offend anyone with this post. This post is simply about me and my beliefs or lack thereof.
In regards to God, Jesus, the creation of the Earth et al. I have no bleeping idea what I believe in. Growing up to a non practising Catholic Father and a Mother from a Presbyterian background I never attend church. I went to a public primary school that introduced RE in grade 7. We had two lessons. Yep, two! In high school we had a school chaplain, who really only gave a special payer at formal assemblies. So as you can see religion and faith have never really been apart of my life.
B's family are Catholic, but I like to call them occasional Catholics. They only ever go to church for Mass at Easter and Christmas. I really don't under this version of church going? But hey it works for some and who am I to question that!
He went to a Catholic High School and attended the Easter and Christmas Masses with his family until he was old enough to be able to 'get out of it' he hasn't been in about 8 years. B doesn't much like talking about religion, I have asked him a few question about his faith and he doesn't say much. But hey he hardly says much anyway, words aren't his thing.
I really just want to throw it over to you guys in the comments. I really would like to know what you believe and if you can indulge me enough, why do you believe in those things?
I suppose what I am asking is for those of you who have strong beliefs in your faith, how did that come about? Where did you find this? Was it from your upbringing? Did you seek it out or did it find you?
Are you of the Science or Religion camp? Or maybe a bit of both??
