Exploring WA: Kalbarri

One of our goals whilst living in Western Australia is to explore as much of it as possible, but since everything is spread so far apart it is pretty hard, but we did manage to cross one more place of the list during our long drive home from Perth after new years.

That place was Kalbarri. We heard a lot of great things about the place and weren't disappointed at all, but boy was it windy there!

We only stayed two nights and would like to get back there again on day so that we can enjoy a bit more of it.

On our way to Kalbarri we also stopped off are The Pinnacles. I'm glad we did venture of the highway because they were pretty awesome!

I have one more place to share from our holidays. Hopefully I'll get some time to do that soon.

Exploring WA: Kings Park, Perth

Things have been uber quiet here on the blog as we have been off gallivanting across Western Australia for the past 2 weeks. It was ACE and we are currently planning our next holiday in this new beast:

Anyway, back to the point of this post. I wanted to share some snapshots from Kings Park in Perth. The kids love it there and the views are pretty awesome too.

So if you are ever in Perth you must take at least a day to explore Kings Park. We've been there a few times now and still have things we didn't see there.

Mt Nameless

The kids think it's funny that there is a mountain nearby called Mount Nameless, because well it obviously has a name, DUH!

Anyhow, we ventured up there recently for a look. And it is pretty darn spectaluar.

Getting to know our new home town: Karijini National Park

One of the things we want to do while living over here is seeing as much of WA as we can. It will kind of be like one great big holiday for a while as we cross off places on our to see list.  And we haven't wasted anytime, today we ventured out to Karijini National Park.

It reached 47 degrees out there today so we didn't see much but what we did see was pretty special.

Do you know of any must see places for us in WA??
