This week I squealed a little bit when the postie dropped off a small parcel at my house. I opened it to find this.
A gorgeous little necklace with two hand stamped Kate pendants from Koolaman Designs. I picked it up and was astounded by the quality.
I was given two hand stamped pendants (not Koolaman Designs ones by the way) from B and the kids for Christmas last year, they were from the states and while the hand stamping was great, the quality in the piece was lacking, but I guess you get what you pay for... and I did, both pendants have now been broken by Ethan...
I can honestly not see this happening with the Koolaman Designs pendants, EVER. I have worn the sample I received this week (only around the house as it is stamped with the names Sarah and Taylor, ;-P ) and Ethan has pulled on it and tried to put it in his mouth and generally put the necklace through the baby/toddler testing with no problems. The pendant is fixed to the jump ring so has that added stability which I think is really important for any jewellery worn by mums. I know that my kids have broken at least three pendants on my various necklaces, so I really don't want that happening again.
I have already told B that I will be getting a pendant for my birthday. I have chosen the Audrey or maybe the Stella... or maybe even the Julia. Oh it is too hard to narrow it down. But I do like the circle pendants as I can have all the kids names on the same one...
I am also planning on getting B some Finn keytags for Christmas this year.I will also be hinting at him that I would love anything from the Silver Seeds line. I do like the gold pieces (which I mainly wear) but I honestly can't see B parting with that much cash. He is to tight budget concise for that. But I can dream right?
