Six, ALREADY???
Miss Mahli turned six last week. SIX! Where on earth has the time gone. She also just started grade 1, it only feels like yesterday she was born.
My oh my does time fly!
We had ice cream (homemade) cake to celebrate her birthday with just us and then we had a party and yet another ice cream (store bought) cake to celebrate with her friends.
She was spoilt and she was loved and it was a great extended birthday celebration.
Now I'm going to go and sulk in a corner because my girl is 6 and that my youngest is starting kindy tomorrow... he's only 3. He shouldn't HAVE to go yet!

Five.
You are five.
You are stubborn.
You are persistent.
You are kind.
You are strong.
You are loving.
You are reserved.
You are courageous.
You are sweet.
You are smart.
You are mine x

I did it, Mum!
We have been trying to get Caden off his training wheels for a long long time, but his lack of confidence and his anxiety has been stopping us. He would burst out into tears at the mention of removing them, but last week I managed to convince him that it would be a fanastic idea to give it a go.
And give it a go he did!
B only held the seat for about 5 seconds and away he went, he rode 20 laps around the wetlands with a huge grin on his face the whole damn time.
I was grinning from ear to ear the whole time too!
Mahli decided she wanted to have a go too!
And well she nailed it just like Caden did!

It's my blog
so I will overload you with photos of my kids if I want too!
These were all taken while spending some time at my Grandparents house. The kids love visiting them, even thought at times it seems that they are only there to raid the biscuit jar!
I know I have been posting a lot of photo's lately. I think it is a combination of a few things that is making me do it. I have some big news that I am not allowed to share yet AND I finally picked up my camera after a month of taking practically no photos.
Please let me indulge in sharing a gazillion photos of my children. I promise the numbers will be reduced greatly in the coming weeks when I can share all my news.... and NO, I'm not pregnant.

She was a sick little sleeping beauty on Monday afternoon... |
Please pop over and visit Trish's blog. She was diagnosed with Breast Cancer last week and underwent a double mastectomy today. My thoughts are with her and her family. x

Hopscotch
Did you play hopscotch as a child? I did.
My kids have just rediscovered hopscotch and have been playing it a lot lately.
