I Heart Craftsy!

Camille Roskelley's new Craftsy class has just gone to the top of my craftsy class wish list!
If you have been around these parts a while you would already know that I love love love Craftsy! But for those new around here I just wanted to share my love for Craftsy again.

What is Craftsy?
Craftsyis a worldwide craft community offering online classes. It also has a patterns marketplace where independent designers can sell their patterns; a supplies shop with great deals on yarn, fabric, and class kits; and a projects section where members share pictures of their latest craft successes. With over two million members and counting, Craftsyhas something for just about everyone, in categories ranging from quilting, sewing, knitting, painting, photography, cooking, and more.

Why should I take a class online?
Online education isn’t just for schools and universities anymore. Craftsycourses provide you the convenience of a world-class instructor in your home, whenever you want to learn. Online education, no matter what subject, is a great alternative to in-person classes for a number of reasons.

With many online learning opportunities being on-demand, you are able to learn at your own pace, anytime. Online learning is a fantastic alternative to in-store craft classes for people with busy schedules or who have difficulty leaving the house. It also allows you to watch a troubling section over-and-over again, so you can see exactly how a technique is carried out, or refer back to your class for relevant concepts before beginning any new projects.

They also have loads of FREE courses for you to try too!

Do you love Craftsy?

I have a slight problem...

I appear to be addicted to Craftsy classes...

There I said it! You see I am completely self taught, you could probably notice by all the mistakes I have made lately... but as they say in the Disney movie, Meet The Robinsons, mistakes are great- you learn a lot from them. You learn nothing from success!

But that's also where Craftsy comes in. I can do as many or as little classes I like. Whenever I like from the comfort of my own home. Which is also awesome seeing as I live 1000 kms from anywhere or at least it feels like 1000kms most days. But we are a long long way from anywhere...

This week I have been taking a new Craftsy class- Precision Piecing.

I am learning a lot and I am kind of thinking I should have taken it before I stuffed up my first Follow The Leader Block...

If this sounds like a class you would be interested in you can find it here: http://buff.ly/ZlEP90
and you will also receive 50% Off as Crafsty was kind enough to give me a 50% Off link to share with you all.

They also have a tonne of free classes! And I just can't help but enroll in a lot if not all of them!
