CLOSED {Review and Giveaway} Bakers Delight Chia Bread
A few weeks back we had a little competition in our kitchen. Who could create the best toasted sandwich?
It was a tough call. But I have to say I think I won hands down.
My ingredients were:
Nuttelex
Onion
Avocado
Kraft Cheddar Cheese (the one in the blue box)
Tomato
Bakers Delights Wholemeal Chia Bread
B thought it was good, but said he needed some meat, so he added shaved silver side to his.
The reason for our little challenge was to try out Bakers Delights new Chia Breads available in both white and wholemeal varieties. We got to try out both and I really couldn't pick which type was better. I would be happy with either. We did notice that the slices were slightly smaller then our usual supermarket loafs, but I can't really say that it a bad thing.
You may be wondering what Chia Bread is? Well Chia Bread is choc full of chia seeds which are grown exclusively in the beautiful Kimberley region in Western Australia.
Chia seeds are known as a super food rich in Omega-3 ALA, fibre and protein. Don't like eating your weekly serve of fish? Simple, get some Chia seeds into your diet!
I also have 3 prize packs to giveaway to 3 lucky readers.
The packs include:
1x $5 Bakers Delight voucher
1x Chia Seeds Pouch for you to try chia seeds for yourself
1x Size Medium Mens Running Singlet
To enter this giveaway I would love for you to comment and tell me what you favourite sandwich filling is.
The giveaway will run until Thursday 6th October and will be drawn on Friday the 7th of October 2011 via random.org
