Winter Warmers

With the change of seasons always comes a change of colours in my bedding. All summer I had bright doona covers in greens and blues and winter seems to bring out the more muted tones of greys, but I do usually throw in some bright accents with colour throws. But I haven't decided which colour to use for my new Florence Broadhurst doona cover from Just Bedding.

The kids have declared this doona the most comfiest one EVER and I am forever prying them out of my bed and reminding them that they have there own.

And now they are insistent that because I have new bedding that they need some too.

I like where I live

I really do. Not liking it isn't the reason we are leaving.

It is a beautiful place to live. I mean it really is, take a look.

I will miss these views a lot!

Beach bums

Along with getting the house organised to pack up and repairing, repainting and cleaning we are trying to enjoy everything we love about where we live now.

So that means trips to the beach. Often.

We took the kids one afternoon last week and they had a ball.

We didn't to go the actual beach here. But we headed to the point instead were is is shallow and the waves are only tiny.

 The kids can safely play in the shallows without use worry about us all getting dumped on the waves.

And apologies for the photo overload. But I am trying to document everything for the kids so we can look back on it in the future.

Spring Cleaning Challenge!

Well Spring starts tomorrow! It is my favourite season and I want to kick it off with a clean and organised home!

It's time to fling open the windows and start airing out our homes that have been closed up over winter trying to keep the warmth in.

A Soulless Bathroom

Following on from my post on Tuesday about finding my homes style, I thought I would show you the kids bathroom.

It lacks colour, style, well is just really really bland. And in the interest of full disclosure, these photo's were taken before cleaning. This is how the kids left it this morning...

It is towel washing day, hence the no towels...
