So I made this cake for B's birthday back in July, but completely forgot to blog about it.
He requested a donut cake for his birthday like a proper deep fried donut... and well that was just to much hard work for me. So I made him a baked donut cake instead.
It was topped with a chocolate glaze and sprinkles and it went down nicely.
I just googled a regular baked donut recipe and instead of dividing the mixture into individual donut moulds. I used a nice big jelly mould to bake it in.
The kids loved it and so did B.
