I finally got my act together and finished a few brooches for the brooch swap on Monday. Thing is I don't think they are good enough... I have decided to send 2 brooches and a badge in an effort to make up for my shortcomings. Hubby thinks I have gone mad and that there is nothing wrong with them. But I just can't agree with him...
And to keep up with my indecisive theme of the week. I can't decided which photo to show you. So I will show you a few...
I am linking up to Our Creative Space today. Pop on over and and take a peek!
I love that birdie fabric. They look greta to me. Shame you cant really see the orangy one.
ReplyDeleteAgree, the fabric is great and works really well with your designs!
ReplyDeleteSo cute! The fabric choice is perfect. x
ReplyDeleteI love your fabric - Fantastic colours! I'm sure the lucky recipient will look amazing wearing any of them! They give a spring-y feel to the cold weather we have been having. :)
ReplyDeleteI love all your photos and that beautiful fabric! Great brooches!

I know that fabric - its stunning, just made a baby quilt from it. Seems this brooch swap has thrown a few people - namely me!! You have made with heart and integrity and your work looks beautifully finished and that's the point. Yah for you!
ReplyDeleteVery sweet fabric and such fun colours. It looks like a beautiful brooch. A very lucky recipient. :)
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous, I love the bird fabric!
ReplyDeleteI love each and every one of them!!! (photos and brooches)
ReplyDeleteHappy CS
They look great to me! Love the fabric.
ReplyDeleteI love this! How did i miss this swap!!!!! I have been the brooch queen lately!
ReplyDeleteThey look lovely. I can imagine them all bunched up together on a lapel. Well done!
ReplyDeleteI agree, what great colours, so fresh!
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing, I'm sure your partner is going to love them :-)
They look awesome! I started to make a second brooch as well for the swap... but I stopped myself short as I reasoned (with myself) that if I make a second one & am still not convinced that they will like it then how many will I make! So I settled on one & posted it off before I could change my mind!
ReplyDeleteso pretty!!
ReplyDeletehugs
xo
Gorgeous fabric - i love the one with the fabric swirling around and around.x
ReplyDeleteHi Amy..your hubby is right..there is nothing wrong with them. You are a generous soul though and someone will be thoroughly spoiled with three of them!
ReplyDeleteI think they look so great together - if they were mine I would wear them all at once!
ReplyDeleteLOVE your fabric choice! The brooches look beautiful, well done!
ReplyDeleteThey look great to me - I sure your swap partner will love them!
ReplyDeleteThat's the danger of blogging though, isn't it? It's easy to develop a complex about whether what you've made is as good as what someone else is making. And, if I'm honest, that's why I haven't participated in any swaps yet.
Nothing wrong whatsoever. The birds are cute and the brooches look really pretty!
ReplyDeleteI think they're all darling and look so cute all together! I worry too that my recipient has different taste than myself but that's the fun of getting to know someone else I guess. I posted mine to the flickr pool~please let me know your opinion! Thanks!!
ReplyDeleteOh I think the're all beautiful and your partner will be pleased with any one of them. That fabric is adorable. I too am being indecisive and have made 2.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are great Amy!
ReplyDelete(I get the 'not good enough' thing though - mine were not so good!)
Love the fabric! Such a sweet brooch.
ReplyDeleteThanks Justine!
ReplyDeleteYours are fab! I will be wearing one today after I get out of my pj’s.
I can’t hand stitch to save myself so I think you did really really well.
I will be showing them off on my blog sometime this weekend. Just have to find time I have three sick kiddies here at the moment.
