#30blocksin30Days Update

Hello! Is anybody out there? I haven't blogged here for over a month, and that might be my longest break from this blog ever.

Life has been busy and I've been spending a lot of time over at And Sew We Craft not to mention sewing a quilt block (most) days for the past almost 30 days.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, you can find my list of 30 blocks here.

I'm a little behind on schedule, only 3 days actually and I hope to be all caught up tomorrow. But I thought I would share a few progress shots of my blocks.

So there you have it, my progress so far. I am hoping to have the quilt top all finished early next month but who knows when I'll get to quilt it. I'm hoping to do a 5 x 6 layout with sashing so this will be the biggest quilt I've ever quilted. And it will be all MINE!

When was the last time you made or done something for yourself?

I'm linking up with Blossom Heart Quilts for Sew Cute Tuesday and And Sew We Craft for ASWC Together.

  1. It's a great project - amazing you are only three days behind schedule! It's a bit too long since I made anything for me or our home. Just a potholder to brighten up our new kitchen would be a start, not to mention cushions for the guest room and a seat cover for the bench in the hall... Hope you don't loose momentum with your project and soon have it quilted and ready to use.

  3. Your blocks look great, such a beautiful color mix.

On a similar note, I'm doing the Quilty365 @ Quilty Folk, the idea is to make a circle for each day of the year. This quilt is for myself!!
