Caden recently turned 9 and we received some balloons to review just in time for his party. These balloons weren't just any old balloons but Illoom balloons which unlike the average balloon, Illooms balloons include an LED light in each balloon, which illuminates when activated by the easy-pull tab, lasting for up to 15 hours!
Now unfortunately ALL of the photo's that I snapped of the balloons illuminated at night also included children that weren't mine, so I obviously can't share those photo's here BUT can I just tell you that a few things that we discovered when trying these balloons.
1. 9 year old boys love them! They told me that they were the coolest balloons that they had ever seen.
2. Even though they say the LED lasts for 15 hours ours lasted for a lot longer than that. Mostly 2-3 days.
3. They aren't just fun at night time (see below)
4. And the balloon itself certainly lasts alot longer than a normal balloon (again see below) we have had them floating around the house for WEEKS with no sign that they are going to pop any time soon.
The kids are already begging me for more packs of these balloons and I'll certainly be on the lookout for them next time I step foot in a Big W, Kmart or Woolworths store.

And when I was checking out their website I discovered a HEAP of cool ideas to use them for like camping (lighting with electricity and batteries), pool lights and backyard lighting during BBQ's.
