As a child I always thought the title of this book was Tequila Mockingbird... don't ask me why, I have no idea! But anyway, I have been slowly working through a list of books I have always wanted to read and To Kill A Mockingbird is one of those books.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this too. It is a wonderful story and one that I think almost anyone would enjoy.
If you are one of the handful of people that have no idea what To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is about then here is a rundown:

Honestly, this is a book that I could read many times and probably come away with a different feeling each time, it is happy, it is sad, it is inspiring. If you haven't read it, do you shelf a favour and track a copy down.

I love this book too! It's so beautifully written and such a tough story made more palatable by being told through the eyes of a child. I know quite a few kids lately who have been called "Scout" in honour of the book.

I read this in year 10 at high school Amy. I loved it then and have read it many times. I've seen the movie with Gregory Peck about 1,000 times too. Have you seen it? You'll love it if you loved the book. Its very much the same. One of my all time favourites.
