Well 2011 is coming to a close, and I am kind of glad about that. I honestly can't remember this time last year. To tell you the truth this year started out oh so bad, my PND was shaking me to the core still and my grandfather underwent a triple bypass and valve replacement. Whilst recovering he also had a stroke... Yep, January sucked.
February saw Caden start Kindy and the beginning of him coming out of his shell. He has come a long way this year. I am so happy about that.
I am trying to remember other highlights for the year. Our family holiday in September was AWESOME, I know that.
It also coincided with Ethan finally waking! Yay!
Really, this year has been full on, but I am glad to see it end. Glad to say goodbye to my PND and to never see it again.
Next year, my hopes are simple. I am not setting myself strict deadlines or goals. I would just like to achieve these in one way or another.
I would like to spend more time as a family doing enjoyable things, be it more trips to the beach, bike rides, playing board games. Even just making an effort to jump on the trampoline. The daily chores aren't going to go away, they will wait until we return.
I would like to stick to my shopping and meal planning AND my budget.
I want to finish setting up my craft/sewing area AND keep it clean and organised.
I want to finish my craft projects that I start in a reasonable time frame. I guess that means finishing my cowl that I started on our family holiday in September... I guess it will be ready for next winter.
I want to finally understand how to crochet.
I want to teach myself some trickier knitting techniques.
I want to continue with my McFatty Monday posting and commit to a healthier lifestyle.
What do you hope for in 2012?
I am linking up over at And Sew We Craft where Talia has shared her crafty goals for 2012 and asked us to share too.
