@Sif- I love Giraffes so much. At Dubbo you feel like they are right next to you. I just love the feel of Dubbo zoo. We have been to Taronga in Sydney and it is a completely different atmosphere.
@Kirsty- You have to go! Your ticket lets you in for two consecutive days so try and use it. We didn't and we are kicking ourselves for it.
My best friend's sister got married there ! I am dying to go ! Hopefully it'll be one of our upcoming family trips. Thanks for sharing these great photos !
Never been to Dubbo zoo, a bit far for us :).
ReplyDeleteGiraffes are so fascinating with their giant, yet oh-so-delicate heads and those long blue tongues! Such an experience to get so close!
We drive through Dubbo every year on our way to Tassie and we always say we will go there... one day!! Still not been there yet!

@Melody- Thanks!
Cute photos. Looks like you had a great time. Dubbo zoo is on the to-do list for us. I've never been there, but you've inspired me more.

ReplyDeleteGiraffes are so cool. I don't know why but I find it fascinating they eat carrots - how do they get those in the wild??
ReplyDeleteGreat trip for the family, hopefully one day we'll get there too :)
